In a world that moves fast and asks so much of our nervous systems, Evening Stillness offers a soft place to land.
Held in Lochwinnoch, Scotland, these evening gatherings are an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with yourself through gentle movement, stillness, and rest.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, depleted, or simply craving community connection, Evening Stillness is designed to offer moments of deep rest.
What is Evening Stillness?
Evening Stillness is a small, in-person evening yoga and meditation experience in Lochwinnoch, blending elements of:
Deeply relaxing Restorative yoga
Guided meditation
Community connection
Cake and chai tea
Each session is slow, grounding, and intentionally unhurried. There is no expectation to push, stretch deeply, or “do yoga properly.” Instead, the focus is on listening inward and allowing the body to soften.
The practise offers a space for presence, regulation, and nourishment.
Who these evening yoga sessions are for?
Evening Stillness may be especially supportive if you:
Feel stressed, overstimulated, or burnt out
Struggle to switch off in the evenings
Experience anxiety, fatigue, or nervous system overwhelm
Are navigating life transitions, or emotional processing
Want a gentler alternative to dynamic yoga classes
No flexibility or advanced yoga experience is required.
Why evening practice matters
Our bodies are deeply affected by the pace of the day. Evening practices help signal safety to the nervous system and support:
Better sleep
Reduced stress and anxiety
Improved digestion and hormonal balance
A greater sense of emotional steadiness
Practising gentle evening yoga and meditation allows the body to complete the stress cycle, rather than carrying it into the night. Evening Stillness is designed to support this natural unwinding process helping you leave feeling grounded, spacious, and settled.
